Out to the Airfield Mile Stone

Today is a major day in any aircraft builder's list......it has been almost 6 years, about 1500 odd hours of actual work and probably the same again spent daydreaming, looking for information, searching for spares and tools and just standing around scratching my head looking for inspiration.

But today was a big one, it took most of the day but between Dianne and myself we got it out to the airfield in a couple of trips.

 It has been a good day! We have slid the wings into place in the hangar, however the mounting bolts decided not to play the game. I'll head out there in a couple of days after machining up a couple of tapered pins to help with alignment.
